This is historical hickory shafted club from the nineteen teens. This Tom Stewart Mashie is from one of their first professionals (John F Hayes) at Newport CC (Founding Member of the @USGA).
Newport CC was home to the first USGA U.S. Open and US Amateur in 1895.
