Dr. Alister MacKenzie’s original first routing of Augusta National Golf Club dated July 1931. Mackenzie made this original routing a mere month after walking the property for the first time.
This routing came directly from Dr. Alister MacKenzir who gave it to the Chief Engineer of the Construction of ANGC, Wendell Miller.
The routing is slightly different from what MacKenzir delivered in his second drawing a year later and what was actually built.
